Rainy day:
Nature has blessed us too many gifts not for joy or enjoyment but also essential parts of our life according to Keats.
“Nature has blessed us source of joy and beauty and a beauty is a thing forever”.
On such gift is rain. Rain is natural source of water. It purifier our atmosphere. Sometimes the clouds appear after a lot of prayers and this happens in the month of June and July. In June the day was hot. Everyone wanted to seek shelter in a cool place but it was not possible due to burning heat of the sun. Even cattle are seemed seen nearly dead suddenly, the wind was moving at a day, which was very hot and close. Every one prayed for rain and God took mercy on his creature and the sky was over-caste with rainy clouds. The clouds flashed and thundered. It rained heavily for two or three hours. The water poured down from spouts.
I saw this beautiful scene through the window of my room. When I saw this view, I remembered the might lines of “H.W. long fellow”.
“How beautiful is the rain!
After the dust and heat,
In the broad and fiery street,
In the narrow lane,
How beautiful is the rain!”
That was the happiest day especially for the children as well as young people who found a better chance to play.
They floating paper boats and enjoyed and laughed on those who were slipped on the roads. After an hour or two, the air becomes cool and pleasant. The trees looked fresh and green. A rainbow appeared in the sky adding to the beauty of nature. Rainy day is considered to be the real blessing of God. It is totally different in the west where the poet says.
“Rain, rain goes away,
Come again some other day,
Little Jony wants to play”
